Space

Space follows the way people gather. Kairos is designed not as a large estate but as a cluster of small houses within sight of one another. Homes for one person and homes for families are mixed together, and between them sit the places where we eat, work, and learn together.

A house is for living in, not for selling. So light, wind, and insulation come before size. Electricity, water, and heat are provided within the village as far as possible, and enough land is kept back to grow food. Keeping the basics of a household within arm's reach is not self-reliance itself; it is the material footing that lets each person stand in mind and body. Building that footing together is the village's work.
